LMK Solutions recently completed a full office network infrastructure installation for a new commercial premises in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. The aim was to give the client reliable wired and wireless connectivity from the day they moved into the new workspace.
Network cabinet and structured cabling
We installed a wall-mounted network cabinet to keep the router, switches, patching and associated equipment secure and organised. Structured data cabling was installed throughout the office and terminated into patch panels, making the network easier to maintain, test and expand.
Wired network points
Dedicated Ethernet points were installed at the required workstation and equipment locations. Wired connections provide a stable foundation for computers, VoIP phones, printers and other business devices, while also supporting the wireless network.
Business Wi-Fi
Wireless access points were installed to provide reliable coverage around the office. Good business Wi-Fi is not just about buying a powerful access point: placement, wired backhaul, channel use and the building itself all affect performance.
Planning for future growth
A properly planned network makes future changes much easier. Additional users, access points, CCTV cameras and other networked equipment can be added without having to redesign the whole installation.
